About

A versatile nonprofit professional, Rebecca has built a career creating content for and building community among educators, families and students with a focus on family engagement and social emotional learning.

Most recently, Rebecca served as Senior Manager of Family & Community Engagement at National PTA. There, she designed and managed grant programs and developed resources for families and community leaders. She also launched the Notes from the Backpack podcast and served as its first Executive Producer.

​

Rebecca received a Master’s degree in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a concentration in childhood education from Vassar College.

 

She lives with her wife (a veteran public school teacher) and their dog in Washington, DC.
