Book Review: Everyone Wins! The Evidence Base for Family-School Partnerships

There are so many books out there for educators but so little time for teachers to actually read them! If you’re planning to dive into some professional development this summer, I encourage you to check out Karen Mapp & Anne Henderson’s new book, Everyone Wins! The Evidence Base for Family-School Partnerships.

The book synthesizes the biggest takeaways from family engagement research and puts them into terms that teachers, administrators and parent leaders can actually use. With vignettes and case studies woven throughout, the authors bring the research to life to illustrate the impact that strong family-school partnerships have on students, teachers, families and entire school systems.

My book review is featured in the new issue of the School Community Journal. Read my review here or explore the whole issue!
